Hey , I am divya leekha from P.D.M College of engineering for women and it's my story about how microsoft impacted my life ...
ALL THE BEST RELATIONSHIPS BEGIN UNEXPECTEDLY !!
and my relationship with microsoft started when i was 10 years old when my dad bought me a computer with microsoft 98 as the operating system. I remember playing games and portray my artistic skills on MS Paint.
At that time i didn't care about what is going at the backend .. i was just enjoying the feeling of doing my tasks so easily and efficiently. At that time i didn't had any access to internet but even then working on the computer was no amazing and it was just because of microsoft !!
I appeared to me like a magical lamp... i just had to press a key .. move a cursor .. right click .. left click and my task is done ..
It was never a thing of my interest to think how these things are done so easily i was just enjoying completing my tasks in a play way method !
From a kid to a developer , from a housewife to an entrepreneur ... microsoft has touched everyone's life sooner or later and i was no different.
As a kid it let me explore so many things about technology.
As i grew up and took up engineering i found all those enjoyable things i used to do when i was a kid was just because of microsoft ...
Even as an engineering student i never found any difficulty working on computer because somewhere i knew someone is making efforts for making these tasks easier for me.
Whether it is playing games , editing documents , performing complex tasks and many more... all the tasks are done with so much ease !!
During third year of engineering our college got the opportunity to become the microsoft innovation center (MIC) and training programs on various field were held and i because of that i got the certifications like microsoft office specialist and microsoft technology associate and microsoft certified professional .During this training i realised that simple microsoft applications like MS word and MS powerpoint has so much to offer . I got the opportunity to represent my app ideas at the appathon session.
Microsoft has touched my life at every step be it when is was a kid and even when i am at the verge of becoming an engineer.
It's because of microsoft i have developed a keen interest in technology and it will keep on influencing me in the coming years . And like me it is being loved and appreciated by everyone else.
How i plan to bring a change to the society being a
microsoft student associate (MSA)
As a MSA i will abide by the following responsibilities :-
1. Drive student outreach and learning initiatives by hosting activities like workshops, boot camps etc
2. Be a catalyst in driving initiatives around social impact involving students from local campuses
3. Contribute in empowering the industry and academia ecosystem by constantly playing a role of an evangelist in the community
Along with these i will help and serve others in the best way i could . I will communicate to the masses and will try to find out the problems they face regarding technology and will put in my best efforts to solve their problems .
I will be open to all the amazing changes which are occurring in the field of technology. and spreading my knowledge as far as i can.
